Alpine Milk: Sourcing Alpine milk is a key part of our commitment to community and farmers. All the milk contained in Milka comes from a 100 km radius of the Alpine region, from approximately 800 small farms that raise an average of 60 cows per farm. We have been supporting local alpine farms in this particular small area by taking milk from them for 120 years. Milk is one of the main sources of income for farmers in this region, and maintaining this tradition is important to us. We have also partnered with the Hohe Tauern National Park to protect the Alps and support a long-term biodiversity programme.
